I have to cut a lot of different fabrics in order to continue with the last part of the border of the quilt with the houses. It is hard to set my mind on it at the moment.
Luckyly I always have a cross stitch pattern to work on.

You find the August pattern on Facebook and also on the site of The Snowflower Diaries. These are the colors that I will use.

We saw this nice picture on Facebook. Most of you will look at the orchestra. We just see the place where we buy our bread when we are in France.

Vrijenban deel 2
(klik)
If you want to make a school sampler in nine weeks you have to stay put. Over the last two days I worked on the second part.
This free sampler can be found on the blog of atelier Soed Idee. (click)

feest !
We are soo proud of our Victor (right side of the picture) who has completed his courses in Communication and Journalism. We were there yesterday !
( And no, I am not a very tiny person, my men are very tall )

Vrijenban deel 1
Last Wednesday Simone started with a Summer SAL on het blog of atelier Soed Idee.
I participated before and this year again it will be a very nice looking school sampler.
I made part one on vacation. Part 2 can be downloaded on her blog (click) today.

weekje weggeweest
In Frankrijk hadden we heerlijk weer.
Frank and I were in France for a week. We returned on Sunday. Already it seems like a long time ago.
Our eldest son is leaving the house, our youngest gets his papers in a few days and my mother has her ups and downs which worry me.
We had lovely weather in France. It was a bit to hot to quilt, but I made the first part of the border. It is going to be a very plain border, because I want the focus on the houses, not the border.
