Mary Elizabeth Coat's Winter Saltbox is af. Wat een mooie rand en wat een mooie kleuren ! Dank Melisa, het was erg leuk eraan te werken.

Dit is de start van een nieuw huisje genaamd: Mary Elizabeth Coat's Winter Saltbox. Het is het nieuwste huisje dat ontworpen is door Melisa van Pinker 'n Punkin Quilting & Stitching.

I started stitching a new house named: Mary Elizabeth Coat's Winter Saltbox. It is the latest saltbox design by Melisa of Pinker 'n Punkin Quilting & Stitching.

Zo, nu zijn alle huisjes weer verwerkt. Ik vond het leuk om aan de achterkant van The Maize House een stofje met een maïskolf te doen. Ik wist dat ik dat nog ergens had.

Now all houses are ready and fully finished. The back of The Maize House has a special fabric with a corn cob on it. I knew I had that fabric somewhere.

Zo, vier huisjes afgewerkt tot kleine kussentjes. Dat geeft weer een voldaan gevoel.

Well, four houses finished into little cushions. That gives me a good feeling.

Nu heb ik toch zo maar het idee dat ik wat achterloop met het verwerken van deze borduurtjes tot kleine kussentjes !

I do have the feeling I am a little behind in turning these ones into small cushions!

start The Maize House

Een klein begin gemaakt met The Maize House. Maize staat voor maïs. Zo met de feestdagen op komst is er wat minder tijd om te handwerken.

The Maize House is weer een ontwerp van Melisa van Pinker n Punkin Quilting & Stitching.

I made a small start with The Maize House. The Dutch word for maize is maïs. The holidays are coming so I have less time to stitch.

Kijk nu toch eens hoe leuk dit huisje wordt. Het is wederom een patroon van Melisa van Pinker 'n Punkin Quilting & Stitching.

Het heeft de naam: Harvest Moon House. Leuk om aan te werken.

Look how nice this house already is. Again a pattern by Melisa of Pinker 'n Punkin Quilting & Stitching.

Summer at the Mill House

En weer een leuk huisje af. Het ontwerp is weer van Melisa van het blog: Pinker n'  Punkin Quilting & Stitching. 

Ik denk dat de kleuren voor het huis, te weten DMC 610 en 840,bij mij iets andere verfbaden hadden, want je ziet de strepen die het huis moet hebben haast niet.

Toch ben ik heel tevreden hoor.

And again a lovely cross stitch house. It was designed by Melisa of the blog: Pinker n' Punkin Quilting & Stitching.

I think that the colours for the house, DMC 610 and 840, were slightly different paint baths for me, because you can hardly see the stripes this house should have.

Still I'm very happy with it.

Al vier weken ben ik in Frankrijk en plaats ik hier posts die ik in Nederland al had voorbereid. Nu maar eens even een huisje dat ik hier in Frankrijk heb gemaakt. start Winter on Pine Berry Lane

Ondanks alle drukte toch weer gestart met een nieuw huisje. Dit wordt "Winter on Pine Berry Lane".

Net zoals alle andere huisjes die ik geborduurd heb is dit ook weer een patroon van Melisa van Pinker 'n Punkin Quilting and Stitching.

I am very busy, but couldn't resist starting with a new house. This will become 'Winter on Pine Berry Lane'.

Just like all other houses I embroidered it is a pattern by Melisa of Pinker 'n Punkin Quilting and Stitching.

En ook al is het inmiddels lente, toch ben ik blij met dit huisje.

Jullie herkennen het vast wel, een chronische gebrek aan vrije tijd.

Ik had dit leuke huisje allang of willen hebben, maar steeds komt er iets tussendoor.

You probably recognize it, a chronic lack of spare time. I wanted to finish this house a long time ago, but something always comes in between.

start The Cardinal House

Ik had keurig drie pakketjes mee naar Frankrijk voor drie huisjes. Ik heb een start gemaakt met dit huisje genaamd The Cardinal House, maar meer niet kunnen doen.

Dit is weer een ontwerp van Melisa van Pinker n Punkin Quilting and Stitching. Voor het rood gebruikte ik een oud strengetje van DMC, want die hebben diepere kleuren.

I had made three small packs for three houses to take with me to France. I started with this one and that is it. It is called The Cardinal House. I always need more time.

This is again a design by Melisa of Pinker n Punkin Quilting and Stitching.For the red I used and old color by DMC, because these colors are more intens.
