Fourth day

Het weekend hard gewerkt aan het vierde deel van de Twelve days of Christmas, een gratis patroon van Plum Street Samplers. Gisteren werd deel 6 gepubliceerd, dus ik loop wat achter. 
Het brengt me wel helemaal in de stemming voor Kerstmis.

I used the weekend to work hard on part four of the Twelve days of Christmas, a free chart from Plum Street Samplers. Yesterday part 6 was released so I am a bit behind.
It gives me the ultimate Christmas feeling.

Share Jane (3)

Vrijdag de drie blokken voor het Share Jane project op de bus gedaan. Mijn blokken komen terug in het centrum van de quilt. Was erg leuk om te doen !

On Friday I posted my blocks for the Share Jane project. You find my blocks in the center of the quilt. I had so much fun making them !

Share Jane (2)

Het blok G-6 van de Dear Jane quilt staat garant voor gepriegel. Voor het Share Jane project maak ik het blok drie keer. De eerste is af !

When making block G-6 of the Dear Jane quilt you know you are working with very tiny pieces. For the Share Jane project I have to make three. The first one is ready !

Third day

En ook de derde dag is af !  I also finished the third day.

mooi lapje

Zou A.W. Loozekoot enige tijd ziek zijn geweest ? Ik vind het heel opmerkelijk dat de letters c tot en met k in het bovenste alfabet ontbreken.
Zo heeft ieder lapje wel iets.

I wonder if A.W. Loozekoot was ill in the period the first alphabet was made. C till k are missing.
And so every sampler has its questions.

blauwe lapjes

Margriet nam van de week een aantal lapjes voor me mee waar ze zelf niets meer mee deed. De blauwe heb ik meteen verwerkt !

Last week Margriet brought some fabrics that she didn't use herself anymore. I made houses from the blue ones !

Share Jane

Moda Fabrics en Jeltje van Essen van quiltshop 100 rozen zijn gestart met het Share Jane project. 
Rechts bovenaan een glimp van hoe de quilt gaat worden. 
Er worden drie quilts gemaakt, één blijft in Nederland, één gaat naar Canada en één reist in de stand van Moda.
Gisteren kreeg ik de stof opgestuurd voor het blok dat ik mag maken, Pap's Star, de ster in de ster.

Moda Fabrics and Jeltje van Essen from the quiltshop 100 rozen have started the Share jane project.
In the right upper corner you see a preview of the design.
Three quilts will be made. One stays in The Netherlands, one goes to Canada and one will travel in the booth of Moda.
Yesterday I received fabric for my block. I am going to make Papa's Star, the star within the star.
