Hier moest ik wel om lachen ! Nu doe ik dat niet meer, maar het is hier voorgekomen.

I had to laugh about this one ! Nowadays no, but it happened to me in the past.

Jan van Haasteren: Safari puzzelbal

 

De Safari puzzelbal werd uitgegeven in 2012. Toendertijd heb ik hem niet gekocht. Nu kocht ik hem via Marktplaats. Het is een echt verzamelitem geworden.

Safari is getekend door Jan van Haasteren en deze puzzelbal heeft 240 stukjes. De stukjes zijn van plastic en het was lastig om de laatste stukjes in de bol te zetten.

The Safari puzzle ball was released in 2012. I didn't buy it then. Now I was able to buy it through a second hand site. It has become a real special item.

Safari was drawn by Jan van Haasteren and the ball contains 240 pieces. The pieces are made of plastic and it was hard to place the last pieces to complete it.

lapje uit 1963

Dit is het derde lapje dat ik cadeau kreeg. Het werd in 1963 gemaakt door Sietske Z. 

Een aantal van de randjes herken ik van andere lapjes in mijn verzameling, maar er zitten ook voor mij nieuwe bij. 

Mooi gedaan hoor !

This is the third sampler I received as a present. It was made in 1963 by Sietske Z. 

I recognize some patterns from other samplers in my collection, but there are also that I didn't see before.

start The Maize House

Een klein begin gemaakt met The Maize House. Maize staat voor maïs. Zo met de feestdagen op komst is er wat minder tijd om te handwerken.

The Maize House is weer een ontwerp van Melisa van Pinker n Punkin Quilting & Stitching.

I made a small start with The Maize House. The Dutch word for maize is maïs. The holidays are coming so I have less time to stitch.
