Louise Sornasse: het patroon

En dat is hij dan, het patroon van de Louise Sornasse merklap. Met veel dank aan Simone van atelier Soed Idee, waar het patroon te koop is.

Het is een map met losbladige patroondelen. Mijn ervaring is dat dat het prettigst werkt.

It is a map with a lot of pattern sheets. My experience is that that works best. 

I am proud of it !

Summer at the Mill House

En weer een leuk huisje af. Het ontwerp is weer van Melisa van het blog: Pinker n'  Punkin Quilting & Stitching. 

Ik denk dat de kleuren voor het huis, te weten DMC 610 en 840,bij mij iets andere verfbaden hadden, want je ziet de strepen die het huis moet hebben haast niet.

Toch ben ik heel tevreden hoor.

And again a lovely cross stitch house. It was designed by Melisa of the blog: Pinker n' Punkin Quilting & Stitching.

I think that the colours for the house, DMC 610 and 840, were slightly different paint baths for me, because you can hardly see the stripes this house should have.

Still I'm very happy with it.

Was het maar een schoen voor Sinterklaas, maar helaas, ik heb geen Sinterklaaskaarten onder de zijde geborduurde ansichtkaarten. Ze bestaan wel, maar zijn zeldzaam.

Ik bedenk me nu ter plekke dat ik wel een paar kaarten heb met alleen de naam Sint Nicolaas erop, maar niet met een passend tafereeltje.

Deze kaart laat een gouden klomp zien en een Kerstwens.

I do wish this was a shoe to ask presents of Saint Nicolas, but it isn't. I do not have Saint Nicolas cards in my collection. They exist, but are rare.

At this moment I suddenly realize that I do have cards with only the name Saint Nicolas on it, but that's it.

This card shows a golden wooden shoe and a Christmas wish.

Louise Sornasse

Toen ik met dit deel bezig was ontdekte ik dat er in de bovenste rand een fout zat. Nu zitten er in de lap foutjes, maar dat zijn foutjes die door Louise zijn gemaakt. Dus....uithalen en opnieuw beginnen. 

When I was stitching this sampler I discovered I had made a mistake in the border above. There are small mistakes in this sampler, but it are the mistakes Louise made. So........I removed the part already stitched and started anew.

Jan van Haasteren: Het Ballon Festival

Al eerder maakte ik Het Ballon Festival in de Nijntje variant. Nu ook het gewone Ballonfestival.

De puzzel heeft 1000 stukjes, is erg kleurrijk en daardoor heel leuk om te leggen.

First I made The Balloon Festival in the Miffy version. This time the original one. 

It contains 1000 pieces, is very colorful and I loved to work on it.
