Een kaart voor iedereen die op het moment ziek is of niet goed in zijn vel zit. Veel beterschap toegewenst !

quilten op het balkon

Het is nu net even te koud, maar heb het weekend heerlijk op het balkon gequilt. 

Now it is a bit to cold, but last weekend I quilted on my balcony.

Soms zit er in een insteekkaart niets, soms een kaartje, soms een zakdoekje en in dit geval een kaartje en een zakdoekje. 

Sometimes you find nothing in a card with a pochet. Sometimes you find a small insert card, a handkerchief and in this case both.

start The Cardinal House

Ik had keurig drie pakketjes mee naar Frankrijk voor drie huisjes. Ik heb een start gemaakt met dit huisje genaamd The Cardinal House, maar meer niet kunnen doen.

Dit is weer een ontwerp van Melisa van Pinker n Punkin Quilting and Stitching. Voor het rood gebruikte ik een oud strengetje van DMC, want die hebben diepere kleuren.

I had made three small packs for three houses to take with me to France. I started with this one and that is it. It is called The Cardinal House. I always need more time.

This is again a design by Melisa of Pinker n Punkin Quilting and Stitching.For the red I used and old color by DMC, because these colors are more intens.

In Frankrijk is het traditie elkaar op 1 mei een bosje Lelietjes van Dalen te geven. Zij staan voor geluk en voorspoed. (porte bonheur = brenger van geluk)

A tradition in France is to give it other on the first of Mai a bunch of Lilies of the Valley. They bring happiness and prosperity. (porte bonheur = carrier of luck)
